How can I download the MEX. app?


You can download MEX. app from the Google Play store or Apple app store. The app is supported on Android version 5 and above and for iOS version 10 and above.




What is MEX.?


MEX. is a members-only app that brings to you the best of the SMART Buildings, Community Engagement and curated Commerce choices right at your fingertips.




Who can use MEX.?


MEX. is designed specifically for members working in RMZ Tech Parks. Nevertheless, even non-RMZ people can download the app but certain features would be restricted.




How do I create my MEX. account?


After installing the app, register using your First Name, Last Name, email id and phone number. Set a desired password and you are all set! Other option is to use your Google or Facebook account to sign-in to the app.




How do I login to my MEX. account?


Once you have registered on the app (refer to registration question), login by simply filling in your email id and password. An enhanced campus experience awaits you!




I forgot my password


If you forget your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the signup page to reset it. You will need to enter the email ID associated with your MEX. account. You would receive an email which includes a link to reset your password in a few minutes. The link can only be used once. If you do not open the link within 10 minutes, start over to receive a new link.

Additionally, you could write an email to the MEX. Support team (support@mexit.in).

Be careful not to share your password in emails or other communication. MEX. support will never ask you for your password.




How do I change the password of my account?


You can change your password by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link on the signup page to reset it (refer to query, I forgot my password). Additionally, you could write a mail to the MEX. Support team (support@mexit.in) to send you a password reset link on your registered mail.




How do I update my user details like name, profile photo or phone number?


You can update your details by clicking on the “Access” button and making the changes there.

In order to update your user details viz. name, profile photo and phone number, you can click on the circular profile tab located on the top left corner in the app, click on “Edit Profile”, make the desired changes and finally click on “Update”.




I am having trouble registering on the app


If you are having trouble registering on the app, please ensure that you are connected to the internet.

Still if you are unable to register, please write an email to the MEX. support team (support@mexit.in) to help in registering the app.




How do I change my campus?


Your current campus should update automatically based on your location as per your phone. If the campus is displayed incorrectly on the app or you want to view the available offers at other RMZ campuses, click on the profile image in the feed, click on the campus name to the correct campus.





Community

What is Community?


The Community Module allows users to join different clubs based on their common interests. The users can post images and their views through text on the module. The posts would be visible to all other users if they belong to the same club. The MEX. Admin, on a regular basis would also post information about events and competitions and would help users with their query.




What are Clubs?


Clubs are virtual social groups of members across RMZ campuses with common interests. Users can post and seek relevant information in these groups. For example, by joining the “Buy and Sell club”, you can seek users to buy your used goods.




How can I create a new Club?


You can create a new club on the Community page by raising a request with the MEX. Team by mailing at support@mexit.in. The team would create the new club after taking into consideration various factors. The authority to create/delete a club lies final with the MEX. Admin.




How can I follow/unfollow a user?


You can follow/unfollow a user by clicking on the button next to their name and selecting the follow/unfollow option.




How can I report a post?


You can report objectionable posts by clicking on the button next to the post and selecting the “Report this post” button.




How can I hide a post from appearing in my page?


You can hide a post from your community page by clicking on the button next to the post and selecting the “Hide post” button.




How can I update my details?


You can update your personal details like your display picture, name and gender by clicking on your profile icon on the top left.





Feed

How do I stop certain notifications on my feed?


Unfortunately, the feature to block notifications on the feed is not available currently. You would be able to do so in a future update of the app.





Services

What is “Traffic”?


Traffic lets you view the live camera updates of the traffic outside and inside your selected campus. You can know the best time to leave, check for any congestion at the gates and make your travel plans conveniently.




What is “Events”?


You can go to the events page to take a look at and register for the various events planned across the RMZ campuses.




What is “Polling”?


You can go to the polling page to participate in various polls and let your voice be heard.




What is “Shuttle”?


The Shuttle page would give you the live updates of the campus shuttles. Users can track the movement of the shuttles in real-time. Currently, this feature is available only for the EcoWorld campus.




What is “Invite Visitors”?


You can schedule visits for your visitors from the “Invite Visitors” page for a unique and seamless access.




What is Ignite – “Book Pod”?


Select from a rich collection of books to read from the Book Pod at various RMZ campuses. Use the QR code to pick up and return the books at the designated locations.




What is “Campus Assist”?


Campus Assist is a feedback page for the campus amenities. You can report maintenance issues, give feedback about staff/security personnel, or any other feedback.




What is “Wellness”?


Get in touch with the in-campus speciality doctors and get advice and tips for numerous health ailments.





Marketplace

How do I order food on Swiggy?


Click on the Marketplace icon on the bottom of your screen, then click on Swiggy to order from a selection of hundreds of restaurants. Your food would be delivered till the reception desk of your office floor at your building/tower.

My food is being shown delivered by Swiggy but I have not received it.


Once Swiggy delivers your food at the requested RMZ campus selected by you, it is assigned to MEX. support staff for last mile delivery to the reception of your office. It may take an additional 5-10 mins for your order to reach your office desk. MEX. support staff will call you on your registered mobile number once the order is handed over by the Swiggy delivery agent. In case you still do not receive your order, please reach out to the MEX. support staff through chat/call.




Swiggy – where will my food arrive?


Your food will arrive at the reception desk of your office. MEX. support staff will contact you on your registered mobile number on arrival.




What is the benefit of booking my flight tickets through ClearTrip in MEX.?


Book your flight tickets on MEX. through ClearTrip to avail exclusive benefits for MEX. users.




How do I book a flight / hotel through ClearTrip?


To book, simply click on the Marketplace icon on the bottom of your screen, then click on ClearTrip Flights to book your flight tickets or ClearTrip for your hotel booking requirements.

Free WiFi

What is the data limit and validity I get on free WiFi and on MEX WiFi?


You will get 400 Mb for 30 min upon using free public WIFI from Airtel and will 3 GB for 24 hours using WiFi through MEX. app.




I can’t open MEX app to access free WiFi?


Presently, to open MEX app, you need the internet. Either switch ON your mobile data or connect to any other WiFi and open MEX app and click on “Free WiFi” button in the services menu.




When I click on the “Free WiFi” button, it keeps showing “hang on, checking allotted voucher”?


Check if the internet is available and you have registered on MEX. (We need to check)




When I click on “copy and proceed”, I don’t get Airtel WiFi page?


Please check your mobile data if it is On, switch it off and then try again.




How do know my voucher code when I click on “MEX WiFi” tab on Airtel page?


Your voucher code is already copied, just paste the same at the voucher code text box.




I have not got OTP


You need to move to a location where there is network coverage to get the OTP.




I am connected to free WiFi and have downloaded MEX app and clicked on “free WiFi” button through MEX app, but it shows “hang on” message and I can’t proceed?


You need to manually forget the “Hello Ecoworld” SSID in your mobile WiFi settings, connect to the internet using mobile data or through any other WiFi, open MEX app and then click on “ free WiFi” button and proceed.




I have connected to Airtel free WiFi session ( 400 Mb, 30 min) and moved out of range of Access point and want to reconnect. How do I reconnect?


Click on the URL link in your SMS which you have received for your OTP.




I have connected to MEX free WIFI session ( 3 GB, 24 hrs) and moved out of range of Access point and want to reconnect. How do I reconnect?

Access

What is MEX.Access?


MEX. Access is a digital access feature on MEX. mobile app that enables users to access the security systems (Turnstiles/Lift Lobby doors) inside RMZ campuses in common areas like Lift Lobbies, Cafeteria and more using a Smartphone instead of an Access Card. This solution does not give access to the premises of individual organizations unless communicated otherwise by your organization.




How does it work?


We have a GDPR compliant solution built using best-in-class technology. It works on Bluetooth communication technology.




How to enable Access?


Your organization Admin can connect with RMZ property team to enable Access for your organization. Post this your admin will share a 16 digit Unique Access Code. Once you have this code, Open MEX. App and press on the Access icon and input the code. It may take up to 2 hours after this step to activate access for you. Once activated you can go any Turnstile and Doors in Common Areas of Campus and open it by tapping on access near the reader (Place where you swipe your card) and hold it for a couple of seconds and it will open. Please make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is switched on when you are trying to use Access. We are deploying Access solution in phases so it may happen that few places are not Accessible by MEX.Access. You can use your card in such places.




What is the Unique Access code?


The Unique Access Code is a special 16-digit code unique to each Smartphone for each individual user. The code is allocated by the Admin of your company with the requested level of permissions. This code would allow you seamless access through the various checkpoints in your building. It’s your utmost responsibility to keep this code a secret and not share it with anyone.




How do I get the Unique Access code?


You can get your Unique Access Code by contacting the Admin of your company. If you do not know the Admin of your company, please reach out to Mex. support through chat/email to get in touch with them.




Can this be hacked? Is it secure?


This solution is built with the best-in-class technology to prevent any sort of data theft from our servers and ensure data privacy. However, a line of caution for the user will be to not share the unique access code with any other person the unique access code & delete the mail received from the admin once the code is successfully enabled on the Smartphone.




Will it work if there is poor or no network connectivity?


In the current version you need to have internet to open the MEX. App post which you can use Access. Yes, our technology is independent of internet connectivity. Just please make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is active to get access.




Will my current card still work?


Yes, your RFID enabled access card will still work as it is.




Can I use this to enter my office as well?


No, MEX. Access can be used only in the common areas, with the user permissions given by your company admin.




Is MEX.Access feature available for iOS?


Yes, MEX. Access feature is available for iOS also.




What happens if I lose my phone or misplace it?


If you lose or misplace your phone then please contact the company admin immediately. The company admin will revoke the currently issued Unique Access Code to you and once the revocation process is completed, the company admin will be able to issue the new Unique Access code to you.




Who do we contact if it doesn’t work?


You can contact the MEX. Customer support if there is any issue related to Access. You can contact us from the MEX. App or write to us on support@mexit.in mentioning the issue you are facing. You can also connect with your organization admin with issue details. The company admin can, in turn, connect with us. The company admin needs to highlight the problem faced by the user and on which access gate along with the building/tower information.




Is there any cost to enabling or using this?


There is no cost involved in enabling or using this feature.




Why does it ask for Bluetooth Permission?


MEX. Access works on Bluetooth technology to communicate with the reader hence you will need to give permission of Bluetooth else this will not work.




My Unique Access code is not working, What should I do?


Access codes are sixteen alphanumeric characters. Each access code is unique and can be activated in only one device. Please make sure your access code has not been activated already. You can check this with your Organization Admin who issued this code to you. If you have upgraded/lost your Smartphone then the MEX. Access feature will not work and in this case, please request your company admin to issue the new Unique Access code and revoke the previous one. If you have cleared the memory/cache or reinstalled the app then it will not be working. In this case also, please contact your company admin to issue the new Unique Access code. If the access is still not working despite the above checks, or if you don’t know the Admin of your company, please reach out to Mex. Support through chat/email.




I have authenticated the access code however, I am getting a timeout error message when I click on Access?


Please check the following Bluetooth, as well as location settings on your Smartphone, should be turned on. Distance between the Reader and the Smartphone should not be more than 2-3 inches. If the access is still not working despite the above checks, then it could be due to one of the reasons: You are unauthorized to access that entrance/exit. Your access may have been revoked. Please reach out to Mex.support through chat/email.
